Frihedsstøtten (the Liberty Column) is a historic monument in Copenhagen, erected to commemorate the abolition of stavnsbåndet (the serfdom system), which was enacted in 1788 as part of the agrarian reforms.

The monument is located on Vesterbrogade near Copenhagen Central Station and consists of an approximately 20-metre-tall obelisk made of Bornholm sandstone, set on a base of Norwegian marble. Reliefs and figures symbolise virtues such as bravery, loyalty, and civic duty, while the inscriptions were created by artists of the period. The obelisk was constructed between 1792 and 1797 based on designs by Nicolai Abildgaard and has since undergone several restorations to preserve its original details.
