J.E. Hartmann Statue (Statuen af J.E. Hartmann) stands on Skt. Annæ Plads in central Copenhagen and serves as a memorial to the Danish composer and organist, known for his sacred works and his significance to Danish music in the 19th century. It was created by sculptor August Saabye and unveiled in 1905.
The statue depicts Hartmann seated with sheet music in his hand, symbolising his musical legacy. It is positioned along the green central axis of Skt. Annæ Plads, where it functions as a cultural focal point and a tribute to one of Denmark’s most influential composers.
