Iconic photo-bridge at Nyhavn
Nyhavnsbroen (The Nyhavn Bridge) is a central bridge at the entrance to Nyhavn, connecting Holbergsgade and Toldbodgade on either side of the canal.
The bridge serves as an important passage for pedestrians, cyclists, and local traffic and is part of Copenhagen’s historic waterfront. Its low and simple design blends naturally with the surroundings while providing a perfect view of the iconic canal, with colourful houses, historic wooden ships, and the lively city life.
Nyhavnsbroen is especially famous as the spot where many take the classic Nyhavn photo, giving the bridge a special place both in Copenhagen’s history and in the tourist experience of the city. The central location, functionality, and iconic views makes Nyhavnsbroen an important hub along the waterfront.
