Zinkglobal is a contemporary sculpture located at Nordre Toldbod in Copenhagen, created by artist Kim Michael “The Zinker” and installed in 2012.
The sculpture depicts a human figure made from recycled materials and metal components, seated on a large key symbolising “the key to the future”.
The artwork highlights themes such as global cooperation and environmental awareness and stands approximately three metres tall.
Zinkglobal is a striking feature along Copenhagen’s waterfront, combining modern sculpture with reflection on broader societal issues.

Zinkglobal is best experienced up close, where the intricate details of the approximately 8,500 pieces of reused metal can truly be appreciated. From a distance, a good viewing angle can be found from the centre of the quay.
