Copenhagen Central Station (Københavns Hovedbanegård) is located centrally in Copenhagen and serves as the city’s main railway station, connecting Denmark with both national and international train routes.
The station was constructed in 1911 in Neo-Renaissance style, featuring symmetrical facades, red brick walls, and characteristic domes, giving the building an impressive and recognizable appearance. Inside, there are large waiting halls, ticket offices, shops, and restaurants serving thousands of daily travelers. Its central location near Vesterbrogade and H.C. Andersens Boulevard makes it an important element of Copenhagen’s cityscape and a symbol of the city’s modern infrastructure and history.
